Career summary

Since joining the computer industry in 1980, I have worked in both permanent and freelance consultancy positions specialising in the design, deployment and management of large international software development projects.  

I have a very proactive, hands-on approach to managing projects and focus clearly on high-quality, timely delivery.  I continue to actively maintain an intimate and detailed knowledge of “leading edge” computer technology particularly in the area of Internet/Intranet and mobile based solutions.

I posses broad management and technical skills and feel at ease managing large projects/programmes, including the management of software development and delivery teams (locally and off-shore), management of systems infrastructure, change management, negotiation and delivery from third party service providers.   

Additionally, I am comfortable representing the business at board level and for the ownership and reporting of financial and budgetary information.
